"LES ÂGES SOMBRES" refers to a period in the history of the Universe that predates the formation of the first stars.
This era was essentially plunged into darkness - a deep, mysterious night where there were no bright celestial lights, and where it was impossible to "see" or "hear" the Universe.
An era dominated by darkness, but from this night would emerge a sky of infinite stars,
